Vitamin E is called youth vitamin. It takes part in countless processes in our body. It has antiseptic properties, which prevents the damage of cell membrane. It inhibits oxidation of LDL cholesterol which prevents the formation of atheroma. It also prevents the formation of blood clots in blood vessels and is, therefore, recommended for people with a high cholesterol level and in the prophylaxis of heart attack.
